Our Work Speaks Louder

This project was all about reimagining what a manufacturing space could be. The client had grown out of three separate facilities and wanted to consolidate everything under one roof—but they didn't want another gray box.

We designed a steel-framed structure that maximized natural light (turns out workers appreciate seeing daylight), improved workflow efficiency by 34%, and even included green spaces. The exposed steel trusses aren't just structural—they became a design feature that the client's customers actually comment on during facility tours.

What I'm most proud of? The whole thing came in 3% under budget and we hit every milestone. That almost never happens.

When you're designing a warehouse, functionality's obviously king. But we pushed to make it something more. The client was skeptical at first—"it's just gonna store boxes"—but came around when they saw how the design could actually improve operations.

Clear-span steel construction means zero interior columns getting in the way of forklifts. Reflective roofing cuts cooling costs by about 40%. And yeah, it looks good from the highway too.

This one was special. The city wanted a pedestrian bridge that connected two neighborhoods split by the valley. Standard specs would've given them a basic span—functional but forgettable.

We proposed something different: a signature steel arch that'd become a landmark. Took some convincing (and a lot of engineering calculations), but the result speaks for itself. It's become one of those spots where people actually stop to take photos.

Fun fact: the steel components were prefabricated off-site and assembled in just 4 days. Minimal disruption to the trails below, which the local cycling community definitely appreciated.
